What this page covers
Resim.org is an image workshop. There is no account. This page says where a file goes, how long it stays, and which record is kept.
It was written on 7 October 2026. New tools do not change the retention. If retention changes, this page changes with it.
The file you upload
The image is received so it can be processed. Its type is checked from the contents. SVG, HTML, PHP and executable files are refused.
The result is stored under a different name. The visitor never sees the folder. The download address is a random token.
EXIF, including location, is removed during processing. A converted file does not keep the camera position.
Eight days
The upload, the PDF, Word, Excel, QR and the short image address are deleted after eight days. A daily job removes files that reached that age.
After that, the link does not open. There is no backup promise. Download the file to your own device.
The short public address
The link tool and the QR tool create a six-character address on img.resim.org: four digits and two consonants.
The address is not placed in a gallery, but anyone who has it or guesses it can open the image. Do not use it for a private photo.
Links from the other tools are longer and are not meant to be guessed.
Other records
For security, the number of attempts per hour is kept with the IP address. That record is deleted after two days.
The name, email and message in the contact and abuse forms are kept for thirty days, then deleted.
The session cookie only stops forged form posts. There is no advertising cookie.
Requests
You can ask for a file to be deleted, for a record to be explained, or for a contact message to be removed through the contact form. Deletion before eight days can also be requested with the address on the abuse form.
