A GIF is not flattened to the first frame. Frames stay, comment blocks are removed.
Questions
Will I see the tags in the preview?
No. The output carries none. Compare the old file in a separate EXIF reader if you want proof.
What about a color profile?
Profiles are stripped too. Skip this tool if a print profile must survive.
