Sizes are pixels. The long side cannot pass 8000.
How it works

Enter width or height.

Check the proportion lock.

Press Create.
With proportions locked, one side is enough and the other follows. If you fill both, the photo fits inside the box without stretching.
With the lock off, both sizes are required and the photo is pulled to that size.
Questions
What if I leave both empty?
With the lock on, one side is enough. If both are empty, nothing is processed.
Does enlarging look soft?
Yes. Stretching a small file far past its size loses sharpness.
EXIF?
It is removed.
